Description: Focus will be on a mix of pre-precorded songs/stems as well as live recordingStudents will largely be in the driver’s seat, with direction from teachersUsing pre-recorded stems/songs, students will learn panning, EQ, reverb, compression as well as signal flow and navigating DAWs by mixing raw tracks We’ll use live applications to demonstrate recording techniques and concepts - these can be sourced from students For example, if a student plays guitar, we’ll learn how to record them as they play, and show the differences
