Born in 1986, Tim Ketterer grew up in Storrs Connecticut, before going to Central Connecticut State University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Percussion Performance. Tim has 25 years of experience playing drums, studying privately, and performing. He also has over 10 years of experience teaching all levels and styles drums, woodwind, and brass instruments.

 

Tim has a passion for making learning music fun, and scaffolds lessons to the ability levels and interests of students. This includes teaching a wide variety of styles. He stresses technique development, as well as reading notation and improvisation.
