Music Theory - Intermediate
This 6-week Intermediate to Advanced Music Theory course is designed for musicians who already have a solid foundation in basic music theory and want to build on their knowledge.
- This class will start with a review of music theory basic concepts and guidelines.
-Students then will explore scales and modes, and the relationship between keys and tonal centers.
-Understanding Intervals, Chord construction, Extensions, Inversions, & Substitutions will be a major focus.
-Functional Harmony, Voice Leading, Chord Progressions, and common Musical Forms will also be covered
-Through listening, analysis, and hands-on musical exercises, students will develop a deeper understanding of how music works and gain the tools to apply theory confidently to their own playing and musical projects.
Electric Guitar Maintenance and Set-up Workshop
Andrew will walk you through the steps of setting up an electric guitar.
With a proper set up, your guitar will play better, buzz less, and be in better tune across the fretboard. All which make playing more enjoyable.

The difference and reasons for different string gauges and types

How to clean, restring and maintain fingerboard and frets

How to troubleshoot and clean electronics such as dirty pots

The fundamentals of truss rod adjustment

Adjusting action or string height

understanding and setting intonation
