This 6-week Intermediate to Advanced Music Theory course is designed for musicians who already have a solid foundation in basic music theory and want to build on their knowledge.
--Students will explore scales and modes. And the relationship between keys and tonal centers.
--Understand Intervals, Chord construction, Extensions, Inversions, & Substitutions.
--Learn about Functional Harmony, Voice Leading, Chord Progressions, and common Musical Forms
-Through listening, analysis, and hands-on musical exercises, students will develop a deeper understanding of how music works and gain the tools to apply theory confidently to their own playing and musical projects.
